This is the precise duty carried out by the nine choirs of St. Theresa’s as they raise their hearts and voices to God adding beauty to the sacred liturgy by leading and enlivening the congregation’s song.

The St. Theresa’s Church Altar Servers passionately serve Our Lord at the Altar. Joining just after First Holy communion, they are drawn in by the privilege of serving at Holy mass. They play an integral role in the liturgical tradition where they are bestowed with the solemn responsibility of performing their duties with dignity and reverence.

The Warriors of Little Flower Sports Club are instrumental in organizing many sporting events to help instill sporting and leadership skills among the members by encouraging active participation to develop self-esteem, integrity and healthy competition in keeping with Christian values and ethics. The annual flag staff hoisting during the Church feast is one of their key areas of responsibility.

The PAP Group is involved in assisting the less fortunate members of our parish by providing financial and material aid through a series of activities such as conducting free Health Camps with reputed specialists in attendance, providing free spectacles, drugs and food supplies, and carrying out repairs and renovations of homes of the poor, along with self-help and assistance at times of grievances.
Poverty Alleviation Project
The volunteers come together to prepare and deliver a set number of lunch packets every weekday to the poorest of the poor irrespective of race, religion or any other distinguishing barrier. The program is sustained through the generosity of various donors and a day’s meals (40 packets) can be sponsored at a nominal cost of Rs.5000. […]
Meals on Wheels
Established in October 2015 with the aim of utilizing modern technology, digital and social media platforms to reach and engage with the congregation of worshippers, the committee chaired by the Parish Priest published the first ever Catholic Church App in Sri Lanka. The group coordinates and manages all digital and social media platforms, thus e-evangelizing the digital natives (millennials) of the modern era.
